‘Patience’ depicts a portrait of a leopard, captured in a quiet, motionless moment. I wanted to evoke a sense of serene focus - she is watching intently, perfectly calm and relaxed, yet ready. That quiet, deliberate stillness made ‘Patience’ feel like the only fitting title for this piece.

Capturing the luminous, glassy depth of her eyes was my favourite part of the drawing process. To keep those striking eyes and her intense expression as the central focus, I faded the edges of the drawing into the white background, creating a gentle, ethereal vignette.

I hope that looking at this piece offers you a moment to slow down and connect with her deep, restful patience.
